woyww - wet and wild

It's a windy wet woyww, perfect for a little crafting.  But, not a lot to show as I have just started an online art journal workshop with Christy Tomlinson.  So what you see on my desk is the journal prompt list and my pen.  That is as far as I got because I start watching the video and then I get distracted by the cat!!   This happens quite a bit and probably reflects my scatty nature a bit similar to the cat.   But, I have included the finished box from a previous post.  I used tissue tape to cover the box, then coloured with alcohol inks added the chip board circle thing and metal corner bits.
The second pic is the book that my DD covered.  She rarely takes an interest in craft so when she says "can you help me?".  I drop everything to offer glue/paper/bling whatever she needs really!

Enjoy your woyww.

woyww - a few clues

A few ATC's using the stampotique characters.  I absolutely love them.....  cute in a grim way.

Now see if you can work out the ATC theme for this swap? The clues are (i) Embossed doors which open .... to show (ii) four little people saying ... (iii) "are we there yet?".  There might even be a little prize for the first one who comments with the right answer.

DH says no one will have a clue what I am on about.  I have more faith in woywwers.  So go ahead and have a go.

woyww - getting organised

Had a lot planned for this Wednesday but, all I have achieved is getting stuff out of the cupboard and then moving things around my desk.  The plan is to print labels for the ATC's on the left.  Cover the little book so it will store the ATC's and find a place to hang my she art girl canvas.  Now that I have finished 3 I have to hang them somewhere in my craft space. Hopefully all finished by tonight!

woyww and a few supplies

I remembered to quickly take a photo in the morning before I ran off to work.  My desk is a collection of bits and pieces that I have been working on like the ATC's for an upcoming swap.  A kit that I purchased from "Scarlet Lime" which includes rub ons, stamps and a calendar page set.  I even had to purchase the texture set  as I could not find sequin waste anywhere.

Not a whole lot of activity so I had better check what everyone else has been doing on woyww

art Journal for May

A celebratory theme as we have so many birthdays in the month of May.  Pink of course as they are all girly birthdays.

I have fiddled with the April journal and stamped over the flourishes with a crackle stamp and  now I have to move on!

Card making

I don't have any children's birthday cards so I spent some time making a couple in different colours.  I  have not added any sentiments at this stage. But, will add an arrow pointing to the age when I have checked how old the little fellow will be on his birthday.  3 or 4 surely not 5 ... time flies.  I can vaguely remember when the teenagers were at that cute stage a very long time ago!!

The final she art girl is complete.  So this is an updated photo after lots of rub-ons, stamps and paint were added.
Now working on an ATC swap and will post photos once I have played around with a few ideas.
